Ace’s Kitchen Gadgets

Here are links to all of my absolute favorite kitchen tools. I use each of these on a daily basis.

They are tried and true. I will never link something here without owning it first!

Some of these are my amazon affiliate links, so buying from these links will support more videos and more recipes.

Love you, and Thanks for being here.

Nutribullet Blender

This is such a handy tool. It doesn’t take up as much room as a normal blender but does the blender job better than most. I use it for smoothing, salsas, sauces and dips - but never anything hot.

Teak Cutting Board

I love the grooves along the edge to catch any juice from dripping off onto the counter, plus the cutting board is beautiful!

a brass european style crank pepper grinder or pepper mill

Atlas Pepper Mill

Beautiful and functional. My kitchen will never be without an Atlas Pepper Mill.

Measuring Scoops

My mom has these in her kitchen and I had to have my own set. They are so handy!

Long Handles

Who needs those short handled measuring spoons anyway?!

Egg Container

This way, you can stack stuff on top of it in the fridge and no one has to get hurt.

A clear plastic container with an airtight poptop lid holds oats.

Good Grips Pop Top

The satisfying way these pop to open and close made me immediately purchase them. Also, get them at HomeGoods or TJ Maxx at a discount - but make sure they aren’t cracked or broken!

Griswold Cast Iron

Any kitchen isn’t fully stocked without a cast iron skillet. One good cast iron skillet can last your entire life. I particularly LOVE Vintage Griswold Cast Iron pans. I love their weight and design and the thickness of the iron seems to be just right. The link below is to a search results page on eBay.

Stacking pot and pan set with lids and removable handles.

T-Fal Ingenio

One of the best pot and pan sets I have ever used - I love the space-saving aspect for our small RV kitchen, but more than that I love being able to take the handles off while cooking on the stove. Don’t hesitate - just buy them.

Three stacked enamelware bowls with red and white splotched design

Enamelware Bowls

Not much to say about these - they’re a joy to use and so beautiful.

Chemex Pour Over

There are so many ways to make coffee, and this is just one of my favorites. I love the slow process of a pour-over. The aromas, the early morning light, all of it just makes me grateful for life.

A Manual conical hand held coffee grinder

Manual Coffee Grinder

This sleek piece of machinery is perfect for camping, days without power, or select days to do things the quiet way. This is a really great way to get the perfect grind for whichever way you’re making coffee.

Kuhn Rikon Peeler

My favorite vegetable peeler - mine has lasted over 12 years and still works perfectly. For around $10, this is seriously a gift from the kitchen gods.

A Chrome breville espresso maker

Breville Espresso

These are expensive machines, and are worth every penny. I loved being able to be my own barista, in my own home. Make yourself a latte in your robe!

a silver cuisinart immersion blender set with a chopper attachment

Immersion Blender

Way cheaper than a food processor and basically does the same thing. This is a kitchen tool I cannot live without.

Le Crueset Stovetop water kettle in a sky blue hue

Le Creuset Kettle

Set your kitchen apart with this classic stovetop kettle. I have had numerous Le Creuset Kettles, but this light blue has always been my favorite.

an all black instant pot pro

Instant Pot

These electric pressure cookers make certain things in the kitchen so much easier. I use mine to make the best freakin pulled pork ever, and it only cooks for an hour. Potatoes, Beets, and Artichokes - all cook in a fraction of the time. An instant pot is a closed system so it’s more energy efficient than many other kitchen appliances. You can also make a super quick one-pot spaghetti in about 10 minutes when you’re in a rush to get something on the table.

Wooden Salad Bowl

Simple, and beautiful.

Bamboo Handheld Salad Tongs

Salad “Hands”

Such a great tool for mixing and serving salads or pasta.

Silicone Spatulas

I love using these to mix, stir, etc. They’re heat resistant up to 500°F. Excellent for getting every last bit out of the bowl. Also, hot tip: get one wet, and you can use it to get pet hair off your clothes in a pinch…

a black and white marbled enamelware teapot

Enamelware Teapot

This beautiful, magnificent gal is from World Market. By far my absolute FAVORITE teapot I’ve ever owned. No clue why I love it so much, but I do. ($27)

A nalgene water bottle with a mountain graphic along the side

Epic Water Bottle

That’s literally the brand name. But I know you’ve been so busy in the kitchen that you’re dehydrated as hell. These water bottles come with filters. The black is for tap water - because no, not all tap water is clean (ever heard of Flint, Michigan?). They also offer orange filters that are specifically for outdoor adventures. I use that filter to drink right out of the streams of Northern California.

a can opener

Swing Away

The Swing Away Can Opener is another one of those kitchen staples that will rarely need replacing. This isn’t like other cheap can openers. It won’t break. You’ll have it so long you’ll most likely have to put it through college.

a yellow handheld citrus juicer

Citrus Squeezer

Trusted by bartenders all over the USA - this handheld citrus juicer is easy to use, creates hardly any mess, and won’t break on you. Makes adding lemon or lime juice to a dish so simple.

a set of 5 bamboo spoons

Bamboo Spoons

Pretty much any meal I’m eating, I’m shoveling in the bites with one of these bamboo spoons. The mouthfeel and general smoothness of these babies - they soothes my ADHD. No teeth clinking or plat screetches either. Just try them and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Griddle Pan

This pan can be used for many fun things but honestly, I love using it for heating tortillas, wraps, and toasting bread. We live in a small RV, so we don’t have a toaster. I also have made eggs and crepes on this pan. Once fully seasoned, it’s just a killer in the kitchen.
